P.J.'s and the Tub

This morning after breakfast I was getting the kids in for their usual baths. I had put Cade in the tub and was waiting a few minutes to put Isaac in. I walked into the boys' room for a second and when I came back out I found Isaac in the tub with Cade. It is still a mystery to me how he managed to get in without hurting himself, but I didn't hear him cry or anything. Yes, he was still fully clothed in his fleece footed pjs and having the time of his life. I guess I was just not fast enough for him and he decided to take care of it himself. Seriously why do we take off their clothes, and their dirty diaper anyway, it just takes up more time :).

This is the Way the Cowboys ride

My Dad always does this ride for the grand kids that we call, "This is the way the cowboys ride." I think my grandpa use to do it to us when we were younger. Anyway, all the kids love it and my Dad, I think, loves it just as much. Since they are on a mission right now, we took a video of me doing it to Isaac, so they could see how much he loves it. The video is a little dark, and blurry because we are moving, but Isaac sure loves Grandpa's famous ride. His laugh is contagious, here it is. Hope it puts a smile on your face.

I did It!!

So I think that I have finally finished a digital scrapbooking layout that I am going to keep. I am such a perfectionist that I work on a page and then decide that I don't like it and I start all over again. I guess that is a problem with digital scrapbooking, you can do that, without wasting any money on paper and pictures etc. Anyway here is my first finished layout. I still think it is missing something, but we will see. If you have any ideas of what is missing let me know.

Happy Birthday Dan!!

Yesterday was Dan's 30th birthday. We hope he had a good day. Ashlie and Cade made him a sign, and we had Chinese food for dinner. The night was complete with a birthday cake with a "Y" on it. I will have to say there are no pictures of the cake because it was truley a disaster. The cake broke apart coming out of the pan, (which I had to piece back together with icing) and the blue color came out looking more like an ocean than the dark blue of BYU, but oh well, it still tasted good. And an extra bonus for Cade who only likes the frosting, it had a lot of it on it. Happy Birthday Dan, we are so happy he is a part of our family.
P.S. Can anyone tell where Isaac gets his chubby cheeks from?
