Last week we were able to attend Dan's family reunion. Besides 3 out of the 5 of us getting a strange bug that made us throw up for about 12 hours we had a BLAST!!! We started the week off at cousin's camp. Thanks to a very creative Bro. and sis. in law the kids attended Camp Sawtooth (grandma and grandpa Joneses' house) for two days before we headed to Fish Lake. They earned badges to put on their very own bandelos. They got to learn a new camp song, make smores, Learn the Jones cousin Cougar pledge (see side bar for full pledge), ride four wheelers, paint nails, Ashlie got to help show the girls how to put on a proper Tea Party, while the boys were shown how to throw a proper game day party (which consisted of yelling, eating, and watching clips of past BYU football games). It was so much fun. We left Wednesday to drive to southern central Utah and Fish Lake. Cade and I got sick that night, so we didn't get to do much Thursday. Ashlie was lucky enough to go on a hike with Grandpa, that was one of her highlights. We had fun spending time with our own family as well as extended family for a couple of days. We took the kids fishing and Ashlie was the only one who caught anything. 4 fish caught on her very own princess pole. It was such a fun time, and we are sad it is over. Got to love family.

Jones Family Fun
On the 3rd of July Dan's sister Rebekah got married. I would post a picture, but I am crazy and forgot the camera. We had already made one trip back to our house because I realized that I forgot Ashlie's dress as we made it to Mt. Home, so we weren't going back for the camera. Anyway it was a beautiful day and we are glad to welcome Glen into our family. We were lucky enough to spend most of the 4th in Twin Falls, and the kids even got to go down the giant slip and slide (for pictures of this you can look at the older posts from last summer). It is a blast. That night we traveled home and since our kids get scared at the sound of fireworks we did sparklers and put them to bed. A very nice thing for these 2 tired parents. The rest of the pictures are just random pictures I thought I would post of the kiddos. Isaac loves to put blankets on his head for some reason. Ashlie got a new friend, named Sparkles, and Cade just needed a picture taken of him with Swingers. I wish you could hear him say Swingers, it is so cute.

Welcome Grandpa and Grandma Christensen
We had a very fun visit from my parents this last week. The kids were so excited to see them after 18 months (they have been serving a mission in Greece). Isaac was excited to meet his Grandpa and Grandma, and to my surprise warmed up quite nicely and quickly to them. We had fun reading books, playing Wii Fit, bowling and going out for pizza. Dan and my Dad even got to play a round of golf, and my mom and I got to take a trip to the fabric store. On Friday we took them to Lucky Peak. The kids enjoyed playing in the water, the adults enjoyed watching them. It was so fun to see them, and we can't wait to see them again, hopefully sooner rather than later.
