We had a GREAT Thanksgiving with family. We had fun seeing many on my side of the family and spending time with them. We ate, ate, ate, did crafts, went on a photo scavenger hunt, went to the lights at Temple Square, went black Friday shopping (well I did, Dan and the kids slept instead), and just enjoyed our vacation. We were put in different groups for the scavenger hunt. We had the boy group and my nephew came up with the name Manchester United for our team name. It was a lot of fun. I would be a disgrace to our family if I didn't mention that Dan also got to go to the BYU vs. Utah game and see the Cougars beat the Utes.
In a small way we are glad to be back home to a routine, and Isaac is glad to be back to his old escapades. I was checking my email this morning and heard some dishes being clanged together, I thought I had better go investigate, and when I did I found Isaac stuck in the kitchen sink. He was not happy about it either. He doesn't miss a beat, always keeping his mother on her toes.
Today is Ashlie's 6th birthday. I can't believe that she is already six. It seems like just yesterday we were coming home from the hospital. It seems like it was just yesterday that she was learning how to walk, and talk. We sure miss words like "coke" which was her way of saying milk (I know it sounds so much alike), and "cuke" instead of cute. She is such a sweetheart, and always willing to be a BIG helper. You might say that Cade and Isaac have two moms, me and her. She loves school, loves learning to read, and loves being ADORABLE!! We are so happy she is a part of our family. We LOVE you, Ashlie!!
