May Highlights!!
1. Ashlie officially graduated from Small Hands Preschool. She said she was so nervous to sing her song, but decided that she could pretend that everyone, but her family and her friend's family, The Forresters, could disappear and she would be ok. She is getting so big so fast. It is crazy to think I have a child going to Kindergarten in the fall.
2. We got to spend Memorial Day weekend in Cache Valley with Adam and Abbi (Dan's brother and family). It was fun to see them again and to see how much Cache Valley has changed in the 3 years since we moved from there. The kids had a blast playing with cousins and having sleepovers. I wish I would have gotten more pictures, but one will have to do. We even got to visit Aggie Ice Cream (or Maggie Ice Cream, as Ashlie would call it).
3. We got to spend the whole rest of the week in Utah at my sister's house. Dan had to work in P.G. for the week, so we tagged along. We had so much fun. It was a week full of fun. We got to see Ben and Brooke play in soccer games, Sara gave the girls pedicures, we went swimming in the sprinklers, we had slumber parties, we went to dinner with my nephew that just graduated from high school and we got to see family. Cade spent the whole week calling Sara, Aunt Sarika, which sounds like some sort of really cool super hero, and Isaac loved the ride home. The second picture is of Isaac on the way home. He spent the last part of our trip like that. He must of been sick of the noise and the light. Silly kid.
4. When we got home we came home to a new summer visitor. A killdeer bird has layed eggs next to the tree in our back yard. 2 eggs have already suffered a horrible fate, which Ashlie cried about. We are hoping the other 2 survive. I don't know how I will face Ashlie if they don't. Last night after we found one of the eggs smashed she prayed that the baby birds would be ok.
