Ashlie's Fairy Kingdom

On Saturday we finally got around to throwing a friends birthday party for Ashlie. She wanted it to be a Fairy party. It was a lot of fun. As each girl came under the fairy arch Ashlie was prepared to sprinkle them with "pixie dust" to make them fairies while they were at the party. Then each girl came in and got a fairy tutu, and fairy sparkle lotion. They got to make fairy crowns too. We played pin the star on the wand, musical toadstools, fairy bingo, and find the fairy's missing wardrobe. I think all the girls had a lot of fun. It was a lot of fun to plan. They went home with "pixie dust" (pixie stix), "fairy kisses" (valentine kisses), "fairy paint" (nail polish), fairy wands and lots of treats.

Words on Wednesday

I have had so many things going on that I haven't been able to post about the amazing gifts that Dan made (with the help of his dad) for the kids for Christmas. He wanted to make something for each of him, and all the hard work and time really paid off. The kids loved what he made for them. Isaac got a rocking horse, Cade got a work bench and Ashlie got a cradle.

Happy 2nd Birthday Isaac!!

Isaac turned 2!!! Well, it was actually yesterday, Jan. 3. I can't believe how fast it has gone. Isaac is our little whirlwind child. He came into the world fast, rolled early, walked early, and has now found climbing. He is the one who keeps us jumping. It is a good thing he is keeping me and Dan young. He really is such a special kid. We love the faces he makes and the fun moves he does when he is dancing to music, and seriously just look at those cheeks, they just beg to be kissed, pinched or eaten. He is also really good at giving big tight hugs. Happy Birthday Isaac! He is really into cars lately, so he had a racetrack cake. He was not one bit interested in the cake, but did LOVE the cars.
