A Sports Filled Weekend

So we started out the weekend going to a baseball game with some friends of ours. Ashlie wasn't so excited about the game, but loved being with her friend Lizzie, eating snowcones and getting to meet the big Hawk that was walking around the game. The night ended with a fireworks show. Saturday as most of you know was opening day for BYU football. We had our own little annual kickoff party complete with a BBQ, chips and dip, soda and lots of treats. All week Dan has been getting the kids excited for BYU football. Cade runs around yelling "go cougars" and singing his BYU song (if you missed it, it is in an earlier post called, this should make daddy proud), while on the other hand Ashlie one night informed her dad that she did not like football, but she liked Barbies. She then informed him that while he was watching football she would be watching Sleeping Beauty, which she did. We were glad at our house for a win from the cougars. Sleeping Beauty party, complete with a tea party, and whoppers.

It sounds like you had a fun weekend. Gotta love the tea parties - we have those at our house at least once a week! Yes, Todd and I still live in Hyde Park. Todd loves his job designing and building homes while I enjoy being a stay at home mom. Two kids keep me pretty busy - how is it with three little ones? I bet Ashlie is a big helper!

how fun- Brandon took Emma to the game and she just kept asking him to go get her more treats- he doesn't think he will take her again.

Fun! Maybe we'll get a chance to crash one of your football parties sometime this season.
