Ashlie was not able to go to her school carnival because Dan was out of town and I was too scared to try and take all three kids by myself. Isaac in a stroller screaming, "go" (he now thinks he can do everything the other kids can do), Cade running around amongst tons of people and Ashlie just wanting to enjoy the carnival didn't sound like a good combination to me, so we had our own carnival at our house. Our carnival included games like, score against mommy, cucumber float, car races, bean bag tosses, air balloons, bowling, pin the tail on the doggy, and you can't have a carnival without a fish pond. They each earned tickets for each game played based on how well they did, and at the end traded in their tickets for prizes. They even got to eat at the Jenny concession stand, complete with cupcakes, popcorn, pop and cookies. Who could ask for more, right?

And NO LONG LINES!!!Way better! You did such a great job. I bet the kids loved it and kept them busy not thinking about Dan.

Stop being so creative! :) We really enjoyed having Dan over for dinner. He was so cute with Landry. They played and wrestled and ran and jumped. Landry slept especially well that night. :)
You win the award for mom of the year- you are making the rest of us look bad! Sounds like fun and I don't blame you for not wanting to take all three alone.
